Kevin is the host of the Throttled Podcast. He started riding when he was 12 on a used endure bike out behind his childhood neighborhood. After taking a break from riding for silly things like girls, college and eventually starting a family 20 years had passed and he couldn’t resist the call of riding any longer. It was this reconnecting with riding and the motorcycle lifestyle that drove Kevin to start Throttled. Podcasting about motorcycles gave him a place to be better connected to the best community in the world.

Larry Lanes started on 3 wheels at the age of 5, careening through the housing development on the lower east side of Manhattan he resided in. Progressing rapidly from 3 wheels to 2, and from his home development to ranging all over Manhattan and later the cities where he resided, both in Europe, San Francisco where he trained, and Marin County where he bought a home and settled with his wife and 2 sons, Larry continued his pedaling, with occasional transient thoughts of substituting motors for legs, but never acting on it. This didn’t stop him from buying the occasional motorcycling magazine, or swiveling his head whenever he heard the scream or the thrum of a passing motorcycle. Twelve years ago, his then 23 y.o. older son, already living on his own, told him he planned to get a motorcycle. “Over my dead body”, Larry said. Twelve years later, his son is on his second Ducati, and Larry is on his 5th motorcycle. Riding with his Harley Owner’s Group and podcasting with Kevin on Throttled Podcast, he’s never had more fun. Oh, and yes, he is also still pedaling.
